This is a hand signed print of an original watercolor painting titled "A Winter's Mourning". Each image is printed with archival inks on watercolor paper stock for a long lasting print resistant to fading. For every print sold, I will be donating 10% of the profit to wildlife rehab facilities, organizations & sanctuaries.

A Note from the Artist:

As a former born and raised midwesterner now residing in Tennessee, I can confidently say that I miss the snow. On the rare chance that we get snow in Tennessee, I immediately grab my camera and head outside for the opportunity to photograph birds against the crisp, white snow. I often rely on my native plants to feed my birds throughout the winter, but when tougher weather hits, I hang my bird feeder and scatter bird seeds on the ground. The reference photo I took for this particular painting was captured after a heavier snowfall in 2022. I got to sit by my window and watch this beautiful female mourning dove graze the seed I had left for her. With their calming demeanor, I can see why doves often symbolize peace. I am grateful for the birds who stick around throughout the winter months. They always give me a sense of hope for what is to come in the spring.
