This is a hand signed print of an original watercolor painting titled "Delilah the Praying Mantis". Each image is printed with archival inks on watercolor paper stock for a long lasting print resistant to fading. For every print sold, I will be donating 10% of the profit to wildlife rehab facilities, organizations & sanctuaries.

Delilah's Story: I first met Delilah towards the end of the summer of 2021. I was working on a painting on my front porch and happened to see her moving about and realized she was a Carolina mantis. I watched her for a long time, intrigued by her slow movements and bubbly eyes. It wasn't until a few months later when I was editing the photography I took of her that day that I realized she was missing her back leg. The most interesting thing about this was the fact that I watched her up close for a long time and never noticed. I decided to paint Delilah exactly as she was because to me she was perfect. She had resiliency and I admire that. There are so many lessons we can learn from the natural world, resiliency being one of them!
