This is a hand signed matted 8"x8" print of an original watercolor painting titled "Red-spotted Purple Butterfly". Each image is printed with archival inks on watercolor paper stock for a long lasting print resistant to fading. For every print sold, I will be donating 10% of the profit to wildlife rehab facilities, organizations & sanctuaries.
The Butterfly's Story: I have a whimsical looking pear tree in my backyard and in the summer through the fall it is full of butterflies. I photographed this red-spotted purple butterfly in 2020 for a reference photo and finally got to paint her in 2022!
